Sears CIO talks sustainability

I’d love to share with you what Timothy Kasbe, CIO of Sears Holdings Corporation, talked about during his keynote about measuring IT value with sustainability, but I can’t. He asked all NRFtech attendees to turn off their phones, laptops and other devices in order to think big-picture about environmental and sustainability issues both globally and in the specific retail environment. I obliged. It was an interesting session filled with many big-picture thoughts.

So, there’s nothing to share from this session other than a photo. (He never mentioned we needed to turn off cameras.)

Was anybody able to copy what he said? Anyone write down his speech?
