The NRF Foundation and American Express have released the list of the top ten retailers for customer service. The list is based on a survey of more than 8,000 American shoppers, conducted by BIGresearch.

Eleven companies are on the list, as the #10 retailer was a tie. In order, the companies are:

1:  L.L. Bean
5:  QVC
6:  Coldwater Creek
7:  HSN
8:  Lands’ End
9:  JCPenney
10 (tie):  Kohl’s
10 (tie):  Nordstrom

Watch the video below that was shown to attendees at Retail’s BIG Show to announce the winners.

    Thank you for the list!
I know overstock is amazing and HSN and QVC have been very good on customer service. I have no experience with Kohl’s or JCpenney.. but I do think that Sears should be on the list.

I hope you are joking. My experience is that Sears customer service in recent years has become the absolute worst of any retailer with whom I do business. That’s a real shame too, because for many, many years Sears worked hard and well to establish a well deserved excellent reputation. Now, when they fall down on the job, they don’t even respond to customer pleas for help. Absolutely atrocious!
