NRF’s Innovation Station: Where retail executives and technology collide

This year we decided to do something different on the BIG Show EXPO floor (Jan 11-12) – something forward looking, something interesting and engaging and very topical – that “something” turned into the Innovation Station.  The Innovation Station is a place where retailers can search out real-life solutions for today’s biggest challenges. That’s why we hand-picked thirteen solution providers best able to address these challenges with technology and integrated product solutions.

Over the past several months, we interviewed some of the nation’s leading C-level executives to get to the bottom of what makes great retailers…well, great. These executives identified six key challenges they face running their business today.

We asked the questions that everyone wants to ask:

• What were and are your biggest challenges?
• What innovations have contributed most to your success?
• How do you create and maintain customer loyalty?
• What best practices do you still swear by today?
• How do you maintain your bottom line?
• How are you using social media and mobile?

And, we have all of their very candid answers on video. See what they have to say about the Bottom Line:

We’ll be asking our BIG Show attendees to vote – via text – which of the six challenges is affecting their company the most. Results will be displayed in real time in the Innovation Station. Want to vote before the show? Click here to learn how.

The Innovation Station is nestled among hundreds and hundreds of exhibitors and specialty pavilions on the EXPO floor. The EXPO Hall is open January 11-12, 2010, make sure it is on your BIG Show “to do” list. And, remember the EXPO & STUDiO Pass is free to retailers and store designers.

See you in New York!
